The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police operatives have arrested members of “one chance” robbery syndicate during an operation around Court of Appeal Junction in Abuja.

The suspects, identified as 41-year old Okwudili Benjamin and 37-year-old Chinedu Mbaka, were arrested on Sunday, September 20, 2026, after police intercepted them in a Toyota Camry., according to a statement on Saturday by the command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh.

“Nine Android phones, pliers, a wheel lock and other exhibits were recovered”, Adeh said.

She stressed that further investigation led to the arrest of their alleged receiver, Osondu Benard, at NPC Junction, Nyanya.

The three suspects remain in custody as investigation continue into alleged activities and possible links to other members of the syndicate.
