Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has reaffirmed his loyalty to the President.
Gbajabiamila, who spoke on his longstanding political relationship with the President, described loyalty as a key currency in politics and said he had remained steadfast throughout their years of political association.
“In politics, loyalty is the currency we spend the most.
“I have been with President Tinubu for many years, and there have been times when his political decisions did not favour my wishes.
“I did not question his leadership and never betrayed his trust in me. I stayed loyal then and I remain loyal now.” Gbajabiamila said.
Gbajabiamila, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, has remained one of the key figures in Tinubu’s administration since the President assumed office in May 2023.
Gbajabiamila served as Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2023 before his appointment as Chief of Staff by President Tinubu.
