An FCT High Court sitting in Maitama has ordered Jordan Wike, son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, to produce his American international passport in court.
Justice Sylvanus Oriji issued the order on Tuesday during the hearing of a $2.1 million land-related suit filed against Jordan by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Ltd.
The case, marked CV/008/2026, centres on allegations that Jordan collected $2.1 million to facilitate the acquisition of 60 hectares of land in the Federal Capital Territory.
The claimants alleged that Jordan promised to facilitate the acquisition of 30 hectares each in Katampe and Guzape.
They further alleged that Jordan demanded $2 million for his father and $100,000 for himself as facilitation fees.
According to the claimants, the money was delivered on September 26, 2025, in the presence of Adamu Sani, Aliyu Sarki and Sai Wani.
They claimed that Jordan, who was allegedly accompanied by Onor Sandy, received the money but failed to facilitate the land transactions or refund the funds.
The claimants also alleged that Jordan subsequently became unreachable.
However, Jordan denied the allegations in his statement on oath adopted before the court.
Represented by Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Ogwu Onoja, Jordan also denied knowledge of documents and allegations put to him during cross-examination.
During the proceedings, claimant’s counsel, Hamza Dantani, asked Jordan to write his full name and signature five times each on a plain sheet of paper.
The application was not opposed by the defence and was granted by Justice Oriji.
Jordan was later asked where he was on September 26, 2025. He told the court that he was outside Nigeria.
When asked which passport he used to travel, Jordan said he travelled with his American international passport.
He added that he could produce the passport if required.
Following the response, Dantani applied for an order compelling Jordan to produce the passport before the court.
Justice Oriji granted the application and directed Jordan to produce the document.
The court adjourned the case until Wednesday for continuation of the hearing.
