Embattled musical group, PSquare of Peter and Paul Okoye, has finally released their first song together. The song titled “Bank Alert” was released to major music websites on Thursday night. The musical video has also been reportedly shot and will soon be released.
Recently Peter Okoye one of twin musical virtuosos tended an apology to fans, announcing the reconciliation with his brothers, Paul Okoye and Jude Okoye and the release of their first song of the year as a group.
Thus the release of Bank Alert signals Psquare’s widely touted reconciliation project and the end of a protracted beef among Nigeria’s biggest singing family, who this year began solo careers.
In Bank Alert, the creative energy and feel good vibe characteristic of the P-Square of old were not lost and, perhaps, more entertainment in choreography may be expected with the release of the Clarence Peters shot musical video.
Peter and Paul Okoye, who have stated that they will be coming back with new music ideas, have also revealed starting a new journey which will include their elder brother, Jude Okoye, as the group’s manager.
Photos of Bank Alert video have been posted on the singers’ social media accounts. Psquare takes Bank Alert video to the streets, tapping richly from versatile ability and energy of Lagos streets. This new tune follows their collaboration in ‘Kidogo’ alongside Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.
