9news Nigeria gathered that the witty professor of English and African studies at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada is among the passengers that died in the Ethiopia Airlines Plane Crash which happened early today.
In a last Facebook post of the professor, he said : “If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me – Psalm 139:9-10”.
9news Nigeria had reported that a plane belonging to Ethiopian Airline has crashed with 149 passengers and 8 crew members on board.
The plane is believed to have crashed six minutes after take off.
The plane was on its way to Nairobi, Kenya’s capital when the incident occurred.
