Goods worth millions of naira were burnt on Sunday morning as the popular City Ways Shopping Complex located within Tejuosho Market, Yaba, Lagos State, went up in flames.
The plaza and other adjoining kiosks built by the Yaba Local Government Area for the traders were completely razed down by the early morning inferno.
A trader put the estimate of goods lost to the inferno at over N500 million.
The cause of the fire was still unknown as at press time.
Operatives of the Lagos State Fire Service were also said to have arrived late at the scene.
