The Federal Ministry of Education has announced the plan to reopen Universities, Polytechnics and other tertiary institutions nationwide on June 1st 2020.
Recall, that Mr Sonny Echono, the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Education had in March 18th 2020 ordered the immediate closure of National Universities and other Tertiary Institutions nationwide over #COVID19 as part of measures to contain the spread of the virus.
The Permanent secretary had communicated the order on behalf of Mallam Adamu Adamu who is currently serving as the Minister for Education.
The closure which according to the announcement was to come into effect on or before 26th of March 2020.
