President Muhammadu Buhari and governors of the 36 states are currently holding a meeting via video conferencing.
9news Nigeria gathered that the President is participating live from the Council Chambers at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Though the meeting agenda is not public, 9news Nigeria, however, gathered it may not be unconnected to COVID-19, especially its impact on the economy, and security challenges.
Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum and Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, leads his colleagues in the meeting.
9news Nigeria correspondent equally spotted the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed; and Governor of Central Bank, Mr Godwin Emefiele in attendance.
Also in attendance is the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, who was seen with Buhari in a photograph released online.
