Earlier today, the first lady of Imo state her Excellency Barr CHIOMA UZODINMA opened the Female Law Students Summit organized by the Legal Torch Initiative via Zoom Webinar.

Barr Uzodinma however delivered a keynote address at the opening of the Female Law Student Summit by the Legal Torch Initiative via Zoom Webinar targeted in synergizing the female legal forum to better the society.

9News Nigeria reports that the Imo first lady had nothing in mind but to express admiration and commendation for the work Legal Torch Initiative is doing to improve the perception and narrative of female lawyers in Nigeria and Africa at large.

This year’s theme: “A woman in her prime: The budding legal luminary and her contemporary society”, is a timely representation of the unspoken elephant that sits undisturbed in the legal profession today.

According to her, “We are in a time when the world needs to look past status quos, stereotypes and biases, and beam the light on women doing extraordinary feats in the profession and the nation at large, as well as create a path for the budding female lawyer who seeks to shine her light as a legal luminary.

To my female lawyers, Barr CHIOMA UZODINMA enjoined the womenfolk to play a good role in their respective endeavours and areas of specialization.

She however maintained that the world needs women of dauntless, unrelenting, fiery big dreamers, who rise to challenge the status quo, to unsettle the equilibrium of things, to create the change we need.”

It was indeed a forum of excellence to APPRAISE women on their needed responsibilities to better the society.

9News correspondent in Owerri was closeby her Excellency Barr CHIOMA UZODINMA to record the PRECEDING of the webinar chat with the Female Law Student through the webinar chat in Owerri Imo state Nigeria.
