AFCON 2019 : SEE The Abia State Born That Made Nigerians Proud(Photo)

Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze made Nigerians proud during the African Cup of Nations Quarter-Finals between Nigeria and South Africa.

Chukwueze, a very creative and skillful player scored the first goal before the Bafana Bafana of South Africa equalized the goal in second half.

However, Troost Ekong delivered Nigeria into the Semi-finals when he scored the second goal.

Meanwhile, Chukwueze was born in 22 May 1999
in Umuahia, Abia state.

He is of Igbo descent and was brought up in a Christian family with a younger brother and a younger sister. He attended Government College Umuahia and Evangel Secondary School.

He started playing football at the age of 8 and he admired Jay-Jay Okocha as his football idol growing up.

He currently plays for Villarreal CF as a winger.
