Bafana Bafana tactician, Hugo Broos has singled out Nigerian striker, Ademola Lookman as the dangerman his team needs to be wary about, as South Africa and Nigeria lock horns in the semifinal of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) billed for Stade de la praix in Bouake.
Atlanta of Italy forward has been star- performer and magnificent for the three time AFCON champions scoring three goals in two matches with two match winners against Cameroon in Round of 16 and Angola in quarter finals.
“Nigeria is a team who became better and better in every game when I saw them play against Angola “It is again a very good striker”
“There are also a few good players like the one who scored the goal Lookman very good player, so we have to analyze a little bit more now because we didn’t at the time”, Broos said.
The Belgian born head coach, reiterated that Super Eagles are a quality side, but vowed to exploit their weaknesses.
Hugo Broos, 72, led Cameroon to win the AFCON in 2017 said Bafana Bafana is hoping to be in the finals after many years of fruitless journey.
