Plateau State Governor Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has again promised not to interfere with the electoral process ahead of the October 9th Local Government election in the state.
He made the stance known on Wednesday as the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Southern and Central zones of the State held rallies ahead of the election.
It was a total shut-down, with a mammoth crowd as the Governor presented flags to the Chairmanship candidates of the Southern zones amidst cheers and celebration across the venue of the event.
He says the State’s Independent Electoral Commission, PLASIEC has the task of conducting a free and credible election across the 17 Local Government Areas.
On his part the PDP Chairman in the State, Chris Hassan thanked the people of the zones for their support, reiterating that the PDP is committed to transforming lives and improving the living condition of the people across the State.
