One of such activities was yesterday’s publication of a yellow Journalism media house going with the name: “The Ibom Informer” in its edition Vol.5 No. 7 of Tuesday 12th April 2022 with a banner headline: “Last Minutes Change of Mind:
Gov Udom Jilts Pst Umo Eno…”

As this news spread and almost went viral, 9News Nigeria, an Australian based media house operating in Nigeria on franchise commissioned her South-South Bureau Editor to mobilize Reporters to accertain the veracity of the news and feed the newsroom back for publication.

A quick interrogation on the source of this news which could reorder the political equation of Akwa Ibom State if it was true, was found to be incorrect, unfounded, none existence.

Further interrogation was carried within Governor Emmanuel inner-circle/think thank and the Governor family members mentioned in the report, still 9News Nigeria came out with Pastor Umo Eno waxing stronger and in clean bill of health in political relationship with the Governor, political Stakeholders, the Maintain Peace Movement – MPM leadership other campaign organizations and all his pro socio-political groups.

Thus our resolve to make our State Constituency habitable to all should be emulated by other LGAs”.
