A’Ibom corps member abducted in Kogi, 8 others still in kidnappers den in Zamfara

Another prospective corps member from
Akwa Ibom State has been abducted on her way to Kogi state for the mandatory National Youth Service Corps call.

The prospective corps member Miss
Imaobong Samuel is an HND graduate of Business Administration of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua.

Imaobong Samuel was abducted with other passengers while traveling with Akwa Ibom Transport Company AKTC bus to Kogi State earlier on Tuesday.

Information from a family source says she was the only Prospective Corps Members – PCM in the vehicle of 12 passengers.

It could be recalled that 8 graduates from this same institution were kidnapped in Zamfara State in July this year while going toSokoto to take part in the NYSC mandatory assignment.

For four months running now, those who were abducted in Zamfara State are still in the kidnappers den, and the Federal Government is yet to take proactive steps to get them release.
