
The Airtel Africa Foundation has awarded a ₦1 billion grant to the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Nigeria program.
The funding is set to empower over 25,000 Nigerians with in-demand technical skills, reinforcing the nation’s digital workforce.
According to a statement released on Wednesday, the grant will facilitate hands-on training, community engagement, and job placement initiatives, ensuring that beneficiaries gain practical knowledge and career opportunities in the ever-evolving tech industry.
This initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes digital innovation and workforce development as key drivers of economic growth.
In expressing ppreciation for the collaboration, the leadership of the 3MTT Nigeria program emphasized the importance of partnerships in achieving national development goals.
They highlighted that this investment by Airtel Africa Foundation will not only equip Nigerians with future-ready skills but also position Nigeria as a leading player in the global technology ecosystem.
