Analysts have applauded the visit of Mr President and sent across accolades to governor Hope Uzodinma for such a good feat in attracting Buhari to discuss pressing matters arising in the South East.
Imolites however hinted that the governor scored 💯% by the president’s visit and on that premise, we plead for the completion of Nekede roads.
It was like a surprise to the majority of Fedponek students and Nekede/ Naze/Ihiagwa/Obinze residents when they heard that the road was segmented in phases.
Now that the first section/ phase of the road is completely done, powered with solar street lights and commissioned by Mr president Buhari. The governor has promised for its completion and Improvement down to Obinze Portharcourt road.
Most of us that ply this particular major and busy road on regular basis have suffered a lot while looking up to governor Uzodinma to please hear our cries and mobilize the Contractors to go back to work.
The funny part of it is that when contacted, the men at work told Newsmen that the company lack materials for work. And the people are wondering how a contractor could be mobilized without payment for purchase and execution of the contract in this clime.
If what the contractors said is true, having also sighted the contractors working at the zoo area of the Nekede old road, who else can we blame?
I know our dear GOVERNOR is reading us and we would like to see him react to our plights having some of us resident in these areas.
