All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Imo State, Chief Longers Anyanwu (Ebubedike Obowo), has commended former Governor Ikedi Ohakim’s grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and praised Governor Hope Uzodimma’s leadership in the state.
Ohakim recently inaugurated ward coordinators under the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative in Imo State.
Reacting to the development, Anyanwu described the initiative as a positive step toward reinforcing party structures and encouraging broader participation in governance at the community level.
He noted that effective grassroots mobilisation complements the ongoing development efforts of the Uzodimma administration, adding that political coordination and unity among stakeholders are essential for sustaining progress in the state.
According to Anyanwu, Governor Uzodimma’s emphasis on infrastructure renewal, agricultural revitalisation, and institutional reforms has repositioned Imo for long-term growth.
He stressed that alignment between federal initiatives and state policies would further accelerate development outcomes for residents.
Anyanwu then reaffirmed his commitment to supporting programmes that promote youth empowerment, agricultural expansion, and community-driven development, particularly within the Okigwe Senatorial District.
He further called for sustained collaboration among party leaders and stakeholders, stressing that unity and structured engagement would strengthen democratic participation and enhance service delivery across Imo State.
