APC Chieftain Seeks Govt presence in Nasarawa communities, decries neglects

Government at all levels have been urged to make their presence felt at Arum Sarki, Gnanpa and Arum Shua Commuinities in Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and legal practitioner, Barrister David Ayuba Dumwe who made the call on Sunday September 15, 2024 decried the deplorable state of road and absence of basic amenities for residents of the Areas.

Dumwe who is also the founder of DAD Foundation and DAD Progressive Movement, said the affected communities have no presence of Government.

The APC Chieftain stated that the road rehabilitation was done through self-help by residents including children.

“We are not creating a healthy future with the system allowing children to grow up with those mindset. Children, women, youths are involved in the road rehabilitation through self-help process.

“Nothing is more heartbreaking like seeing your people being helpless despite their unwavering commitment to peaceful co-existence and believe in the government”, Dumwe who holds the traditional title of Jikadan Arum, declared.

He therefore appealed to Government to live up to its responsibilities by providing dividends of democracy to the people of the communities.

The APC Chieftain vowed to continue to “draw the attention of the government at all levels until our people are liberated’.
