APC nomination forms: What Ezekwesili said about Buhari’s integrity

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili on Tuesday said President Muhammadu Buhari has lost his integrity for receiving the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest forms bought by a group.

Ezekwesili stated this as Buhari received the forms from the group on Tuesday.

The former minister, expressing disappointment, said she would engage in ‘Transparent Fund Raising’ when she decides to seek a political position.

Ezekwesili on her Twitter page wrote: “Dear Buhari, I wish to give you a Free Counsel. Do not accept a N45M nomination form laced as ‘donation’ by an opaque group of people.

“Ask one of your staff in Aso Rock to place before you, the basic Dictionary definition of INTEGRITY. Then, decide.

“When I decide to run for elective office, no way any Party that charges above N100,000 for Nomination Forms would get my membership. Tufiakwa. I would not want some amoeba group paying for my form with money that has an OPAQUE source. Also, I’ll do Transparent Fund Raising.

“Integrity was not in that room today when Buhari took the form.”
