APC National working Committee has issued an immediate notice to all Trustees and NWC members of the Presidential Support Committee (PSC) to desist from holding Further meetings that is not approved by the secretariat.
9News Nigeria reports that the meeting unilaterally convened by Dr. Yakubu Ugwolawo and Hon. Suleiman Yunusa Yola for PSC Trustees and NWC members at the Crescent Chambers, Apo Zone E, Abuja Thursday at 11am is cancelled.
Reason is that the meeting did not follow due process and was convened without proper consultation of appropriate leadership authorities which is against the dictates of the PSC Constitution still in force.
The Chief Prof. Jasper F. Jumbo JP led Administration has written to the the duo to be well advised in the higher interest of respect for constituted authority and unity of the Association.
They are warned to shelve the meeting for about two weeks from date, to allow for proper consultation and due process.
“With all due respect to all our colleagues, the proposed meeting is hereby cancelled until further notice , as any contravening decisions made at such a meeting, shall be regarded as a constitutional breach and legal over reach, and hence, null and void.
He however regrets any inconveniences to the misguided leaders and call on all to work in harmony of faith and purpose.
