The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Takbol Ward, Plateau State, has suspended eight Senior Members including a Plateau State House of Assembly member, citing alleged anti-party activities during the recent local government election.

The suspended members include:

•Hon. Namcwat Bendel Domfa, Member of the Plateau State House of Assembly.

•Hon. Nanfa Napmwang, APC Tabol Ward Chairman.

•Hon. Bala Setyep, APC Ward Secretary.

•Hon. Nansol Liman, Former Councilor, Takbol Ward.

•Tanfa Lohkur, Deputy APC Federal Ward Chairman.

•Hon. Nanmar Dongnap, Former Supervisory Councilor.

•Paul Tenshik, APC Ward Financial Secretary.

•Nimcit Nankuk, APC Ward Ex- Officio 1.

The announcement came after an October 25, 2024 meeting with Ward Executives and Stakeholders, where concerns over party’s performance and alleged internal opposition were discussed.

According to the Ward’s leadership, the suspension aligns with Article 21 of the APC Constitution and will remain in effect pending comprehensive investigation.

Takbol Ward Executives have urged the suspended members to reflect on their actions and seek reconciliation with the party.

The decision has been forwarded to APC Langtang South Local Government Chairman for further review and possible ratification.
