Labour Party supporters on Saturday said they were brutalised by thugs working for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jakande area of Lagos State.
In a tweet obtained by 9NEWS NIGERIA, one of the supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in a tweet said many supporters of the party called ‘Obidients’ were violently attacked while others have their phones smashed.
Tweeting under @BishopPOEvang, he posted the video of one of the LP supporters with bruises on his body who claimed he was attacked by APC Thugs.
The victim said ”Good morning everyone. I was attacked by the APC thugs at Jakande here. A lot of us were attacked. My phone got smashed. You can see the injuries on my hands and all parts of my body. It’s a mess. We just have to run for our lives”.
