THE ALL Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has zoned the party’s 2019 presidential ticket to the North.
This was made known by the secretary of APGA Board of Trustees, Sani Shinkafi, on Friday.
“The party’s ticket has been zoned to the northern part of Nigeria,” Mr Shinkafi said in a political meeting attended by Willie Obiano, the only governor of the party.
“The candidate that will fly the party’s flag should be a credible candidate,” he added.
He said the candidate must possess track records, competence and capacity to fly the party’s flag in the 2019 general election.
“So the party agreed also to get a vice presidential candidate who is also very courageous, capable and have competence to be the vice presidential candidate for the 2019 election,” Shinkafi said.
