An appeal court sitting in Port Harcourt has dismissed an appeal filed by the Rivers state All Progressives Congress against the judgment of the Federal High court in favor of the Peoples Democratic Party and its Governorship CCandidateSir Siminalayi Fubara.
The APC had filed a suit at the federal high court, asking the court to direct INEC to disqualify the candidate of the PDP for allegedly violating the electoral Act by not duly signing the list of candidates of the party and for submitting the same later than the stipulated time but the suit was struck out by the federal high court presided over by Justice Emmanuel Obile for lack of jurisdiction.
