Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has expressed his disappointment at Arsenal’s 0-2 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday in English Premier League.

Atiku, a staunch Gunners, took to his X handle to share his thoughts in the match, stating that it was frustrating result for the team.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)Presidential candidate in the last election, however remained optimistic in the race for English Premiership League (EPL) title despite the frustrating home defeat and setback recorded.

Atiku wrote: “Not the result we expected from Arsenal, But we move, It’s not over until it is over”

Aston Villa struck twice in the closing stages to boost their top-four bid with a dramatic 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins struck late at the Emirates to demoralized and also dent Arsenal’s Premiership League title ambition.
