Brigadier-General Nafiu Olakunle, an artillery officer and a proud son of of Ileogbo, Aiyedire Local Government Area of Osun State has been appointed as the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC).

The new DG, previously served as the Chief of Staff to late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, who passed away at the age of 56, on November 5, 2024 in Lagos after a period of illness.
