Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has urged judges in the state to carry out their duties with integrity, reminding them that while they judge others, they too will one day be judged by their creator.
Speaking at the 2025/2026 Legal Year ceremony of the Plateau State High of Justice. Jos, the Governor prayed that when their time of judgement comes, they would stand before God withe a clear conscience. He advised judges to exercise their discretion with wisdom, fairness, and the fear of God.
Mutfwang commended the Plateau Judiciary for maintaining its reputation and avoiding public scandals He reiterated his administration’s commitment for supporting the Judiciary, improving conditions within available resources, and strengthening collaboration between the judiciary and executive without undermining citizens rights.
On security, the Governor acknowledged the state’s ongoing challenges and plans to recruit more personnel into Operation Rainbow within two weeks to boost safety, while urging citizens to provide credible intelligence to aid security efforts.
