Atiku declares intention to contest March 23, ignores North inconclusive consensus deal

Regardless of yesterday consensus arrangement initiated by Gov. Bala Muhammad of Bauchi, his Sokoto State counterpart, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and the former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki to get a consensus Presidential candidate for the People Democratic Party – PDP, the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has today released posters to hold a public declaration of his intention to seek for the topmost job in the country standing on the PDP elevation.

Atiku did not attend yesterday Bauchi meeting.
Dr. Bukola Saraki while addressing newsmen after the closed door meeting yesterday, said they will convey the resolutions reached to the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar who is one of the serious contestants.

The discussions in the lips of Nigerians is whether Atiku is seeing himself not been favoured in the consensus agreement, hence he has to preempt other candidates by staging a public declaration of his ambition before he is even been called for any consensus deal.

Others say Atiku says any consensus agreement reached should not have any other aspirant in mind except him for being the longest contestant ever, hence he should be compensated for having lost several times in this same contest.
Atiku poster as sent to 9NEWS NIGERIA says his public declaration of his interest to be Nigeria President holds at the International Conference Centre Abuja on March 23, 2022.
