[9News Australia]  Barely 8 days after claiming victory in the last federal election,  Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has today unveiled his new frontbench, with Christopher Pyne and Greg Hunt among those taking on new roles.

All members of the previous cabinet have been reappointed, with some ministers shifted to new portfolios.

“My team will now get on with the job of governing, constructively working and engaging with the other parties in the parliament, to deliver the strong and secure future,” Mr Turnbull said in Canberra today.

Mr Pyne has been appointed to the newly created role of Minister for Defence Industry, which will oversee the development of military technology and South Australia’s shipbuilding project.

Mr Hunt will move from Environment to Mr Pyne’s vacated Industry, Innovation and Science portfolio, while Josh Frydenberg will include the Environment role in his new title of Minister for Environment and Energy.

As expected, Nationals Senator Matt Canavan has been promoted to cabinet in the role of Minister for Resources and Northern Australia.

Fiona Nash will add the Local Government and Territories portfolio to her current role.

Sussan Ley has retained the health portfolio, despite pressure for her to be moved on after Labor’s successful “Mediscare” campaign.

Kelly O’Dwyer’s position as Assistant Treasurer has been renamed to Minister for Revenue and Financial Services, which Mr Turnbull said better defined the role.

Luke Hartsuyker, Zed Seselja and David Gillespie have been appointed in junior ministry roles.

The new-look ministry will be sworn in at Government House in Canberra tomorrow.
