Vivian Ottih Is An Impersonator- NAWOJ

The attention of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Imo state chapter has been drawn to an online publication titled: GRAND PATRONSHIP OFFER to one of the illustrious sons of the state on behalf of Imo NAWOJ by one Vivian Ottih and her clique.

The Imo State Council of NAWOJ wish to state categorically and in an unambiguous terms, that a certain VIVIAN OTTIH is not an official of the Association.

Accordingly, NAWOJ seriously frowns at the level of impersonation and gross and deliberate insurbodination by VIVIAN OTTIH, who was a one time chairperson of the Association but presently on suspension by the National Executive Council (NEC) of NAWOJ.

It is also important to state that the National Secretariat of NAWOJ had issued a disclaimer on her owing to her activities considered inimical to the Association. (Please see attached letter above).

With this position, the said VIVIAN OTTIH is no longer a member of the Association and does not have the right whatsoever to transact any business for or on behalf of the Association.

NAWOJ in accordance with the provisions of the constitution of the Nigeria Union of Journalists which is the body of rules guiding its activities, recognises only the leadership of Dorothy Nnaji Ph.D and Comrade Chika Ewurum as chairperson and Secretary respectively, of the Imo State Chapter of NAWOJ.

In this wise, NAWOJ wish to inform and advise members of the public not to transact any business whatsoever with the VIVIAN OTTIH in the name of NAWOJ, Imo State Chapter.
