Burkina Faso has called the managers of all schools in the country to start looking up to enforcing African Made school uniforms on every student. This will help in promoting African locally made fabrics and products in the country.
The introduction of locally made African fabric is targetted at promoting African Made attire and patronizing locally based products in Burkina Faso.
It is expected of other African Countries to emulate same to instill cultural values in the minds of every African born child.
It is a known fact that Africa has a way of culture and lifestyle but regrettedly the advent of whiteman has brought alot of damages. Though little technological advancement, Africans are indirectly loosing their aboriginal foundations and humble lifestyles.
Development and improvement of mankind are quite acceptable but the root of African heritage cannot be totally removed. The call by Burkina Faso government is therefore a good one while looking up to white man’s prone addicted countries and lifestyle to start reducing as a matter of importance.
Burkina Faso has initiated a process to transform all school uniforms, using traditional Faso Dan Fani textiles that hold a significant connection to the nation’s history and culture.
