Group under the argues of “Young Nigerian Vioces” has continued to advocate for the candidacy of Dr Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba to fill in the gap whenever the election sets in.
The group is a combination of several advocacy groups at the grassroots of Nigerian politics calling on the honourable minister of state for education to come out and represent the youths in the presidential election pending the time schedule for the exercise by INEC.
Speaking through the leadership of the group, “it is the time for the young Nigerians to take over the politics of this country to restore her lost dignity” Dr Emeka Nwajiuba is the person to bring on board the change Nigerians need.
Below is his profile as a serving minister of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Hon, Dr, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba was born on the 20th of August 1967 at Umuezeala Nsu in Ehime Mbano local government area of Imo state, southeast region of Nigeria.
He has a bachelor degree of laws from Imo state University and later did his master’s degree still in laws at University of Lagos and finally did his doctorate degree in phyliosophy PhD from the University of Jos . He was called to bar in the year 1989. Barr Emeka Nwajiuba first career job was with Ayodeji C. Emeka Ibrahim & Co in the year 1991 as a managing partner.
He Nwajiuba joined politics after some years of working experience and was elected member of the federal Representatives from Okigwe North Constituency in the year 1999 – 2003, where he served as Chairman Committee on lands, housing and works.
He contested for Imo state governorship elections on the platform of All People’s Party in the following years 2003, 2007 and 2011.
He Dr, Emeka Nwajiuba was a founding member of the “All Progressives Congress” party and served as a secretary of the Constitution drafting committee that produced the Constitution that gave birth to the political party called APC in Nigeria in 2013 and 2014.
When his master president Buhari won the 2015 presidential election, honourable Nwajiuba was appointed the chairman of Tertiary Education Trust Fund from 2016 – 2019 and he served excellently and was admired by many Nigerians.
In the year 2019, Nwajiuba contested for an election and was re – elected member of the Okigwe North Federal Constituency under a political party called ACCORD PARTY.
As he prepared to serve his Constituency amicably and graciously in the green chamber of the federal government of Nigeria, he was nominated by the president of the federal republic of Nigeria in the person of president Mohammedo Buhari for a ministerial role.
Because he loves his country Nigeria he dropped his Constituency project to a Nigeria project which is larger than his Constituency.And he was made a minister of state for Education by the federal government of Nigeria till date.
His astute leadership observation, wisdom and knowledge have caused lots of positive educational innovations in Nigeria institutions. Really Emeka Nwajiuba is a gym, an icon and a great future leader of Nigeria. The Nigeria youths are ernestly seeking for him to lead the good people of Nigeria come 2023.
