The much coveted Miss Tourism Nigeria 2016 finally came to an end after Miss Abia, in the person of Ogenna Ekwubiri won the heated contest and was crowned accordingly.
The show attracted the presence of the creme de la creme from government functionaries, members of the diplomatic corp, business exectives and entertainment as well as fashion personalities, as they witnessed an evening of glitz, glamour and paparazzi.
As part of her prizes, she received an official car, BOOM J8 (courtesy of Tecno mobile), latest edition of Cway Dispenser, a year supply of woodin (courtesy of Korede Bello), a custom-bottled champagne (courtesy of Drumbiu). She’ll also represent Nigeria this October in Malaysia amongst over 70 countries at the Miss Tourism World pageant.
Runners ups at the 5th edition of the show, includes Miss Enugu (Immaculata Offurum), who was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria Globe (she’ll represent Nigeria at the next MissGlobe pageant in China), Akwa Ibom’s Miss Ivie Young Akpude who won the title of Miss Tourism NigeriaInternational (She’ll represent Nigeria at Miss International in Japan) while Miss Anambra was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria Africa.
