Ben Ayade takes Local Govt Chairmen to France to study potatoes farming

Governor Ben Ayade is leading his State 19 Local Government Council Chairmen to France to research on potatoes farming and cattle ranching.

The Cross River delegation arrived France yesterday Wednesday 6th October and is taken round farming settlements in their host country.

Ayade and the Council Chairmen are in France to learn Irish potatoes farming and cattle ranching.

Governor Ben Ayade is seen in the whole South-South region of Nigeria as one adverse to the political Interest of the region by his policies which admit Fulani herders in Cross River State which other Governors consider as sponsors of all forms of insurgencies and terrorism.

While his Governor counterparts in other five States in South-South Nigeria are opposed to open grazing and are signing into law bills to stop herders from moving cattles everywhere as their fancy pleases, Governor welcomes such development and have turned Cross River State to a thoroughfare of cattles.

In October 2nd, Nde community in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State was thrown into crises and serious chaos as some military men dehumanized some youths who opposed herders destroying their farmlands with cattles.

While dust of Nde crises is yet to settle, Ayade is in Europe to learn more about cattle ranching to institute a conducive cohabitation plan in the name of ranching that will coordinate the activities of herders and farmers in Cross River State Nigeria.
