Militants identified as Black Marine suspected to be the armed wing of Biafra Nations League, BnL has gunned down one Navy officer in Oron beach, Akwa Ibom State this afternoon.
The Militant group who were waving the Biafran flag on a speedboat were confronted by the Nigerian Navy.
Meanwhile, some members of BnL today reportedly resisted arrest by the Police in Calabar after a match by the group at Marian road as at 11 am.
The separatist group might be acting on the ultimatum given to the federal government to release all Biafrans including Me Nnamdi Kanu leader of Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), Benjamin Onwuka of Biafra Zionist Federation and recognition of Biafra as a sovereign state, the members were mainly from Cross River State.
