The recent primary election of All Progressives Congress APC Party in Imo State has showcased a high level of embarrassment to the party members and party aspirants whose legitimate rights of contest in the just concluded primary elections were trampled upon.
Our correspodents reports that the entire process that brought up the candidates of House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate was a total charade and unacceptable by the Electorates.
We can authoritatively assert that major contestants withdrew because of the system was faulty and not that they were not ready to go out for the election.
Delegates were seen at various locations at respective local government areas ready to cast votes to their respective aspirants at various levels but the elections were hijacked and results written to preferred candidates against the wishes of the people through the voting process.
However, the way politics are been done in NIGERIA, mostly in Imo State, is alarming and people are furious against such a dirty process.
In Imo state for instance, the charades happening across board is making the political game uninteresting.
The House of Assembly was manipulated same as Federal House of Reps and Senate as gathered.
The process has truly exposed the level of handlers of All Progressives Congress APC party in the state as gathered by 9News Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the opposition PDP is facing a clear position to win the polls by their strength in the PRESIDENTIAL ticket for Atiku.
But in the state, the dilemma over the primary election has reduced the tempo of followership in the APC party as gathered.
But the dice is cast on the political environment for the Electorates to speak out, think well and vote wisely their best candidates.
From analysis by 9News Nigeria political group editors , the election may be recalled through the due process of voting while the electorates watches despite that government machineries are seen to be in-charge.
