A Brazilian billionaire who reportedly never met Neymar has left his entire £846 million fortune to the football icon.
According to local outlet RIC, the will was formalised in Porto Alegre on June 12, with two witnesses present during its authentication.
The identity of the businessman has not been publicly disclosed, but reports suggest he was single, childless, and admired Neymar’s family values.

The billionaire is said to have particularly moved by Neymar’s close bond with his father, Neymar Sr., which reminded him of his own late father.
Local media claim this personal connection influenced his decision to make the 33-year-old winger the sole heir to his estate
Reports revealed that the man had a fortune worth 6.2 billion Brazilian Reals, which equals around £846 million which means the footballer is now a billionaire in his home country.
The father-of-four is yet to comment publicly on his new found windfall, which could become subject to legal disputes If approved.

Not that Neymar is in dire need of the money, given the fact that his current net worth is estimated to be somewhere in the region of $300 million (£223 million) to $330 million (£245 million).
The footballer recently moved back to his home country to play for his boyhood club, Santos FC, after a year playing in the Saudi Pro League.
Neymar da Silva Santos Jr., popularly known as Neymar Jr. spent his year in Saudi at Al-Hilal, playing in the same league as Christiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane.
