No fewer than three person have been confirmed dead and six others injured in another overnight attack on Maisamari town in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State.
It was gathered that the attack was carried out by a suspected militia group at a cultural event in the community.
The police spokesman in the state, ASP David Misal, who confirmed this to newsmen, said the incident took place during a cultural event called Nding-Chin.
Misal said the cultural event was taking place in the area for the first time.
The spokesman disclosed that the area was now calm as the command had deployed additional policemen to beef up security.
