A cry for justice protest erupts in Makurdi the Benue state capital. The protest was in respect of an 18 Years old girl, Miss Stella Doosuur MNDA raped to death on a Monday,25th March,2019 in Gboko Benue state.
The protest which started at around 3:00 PM was brief.
Leader of the protest Comrade Shom Fanen Akor (ShomExpress) while addressing the protesters and news men; says, it is indeed a very big Shame to the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) who up to this very moment have failed to arrest the suspect, Mr Sesugh Ioryisa Jam (Ordidi) who is said to have committed this heinous,cruel and Evil act “Rape” against our Sister, Miss Stella Mnda.
Shom in his words says,”we refuse to keep quiet in the hands of a killer disguised as Rape” in fact Rape has no place in our State(Benue) and Nigeria at Large.

He further charged the Nigerian police force,Benue State government and the Nigerian Government to think through this questions
Had Stella Mnda Be a daughter to the DPO Area “A” Command Gboko Headquarters;
Had Stella Mnda Be a daughter to a Senator, Governor or the President; I am sure by now the suspect My Sesugh Ioryisa Jam would have been????
The answer is a matter of Conjecture…
Reasons we are having this peaceful protest.
1.we demand that the Nigerian Police Force will stop playing pranks with this serious matter that threatened the security of our Children and Sisters as Benue and Nigerian Citizens.
2.we call on the Benue State & Nigerian Government to ensure that Justice is served to the family of Jeffrey Mnda who is currently in serious pains.
3.We also call on all Benue indigenes to join us as we press on for #Justice 4 Stella Mnda.
He (Shom) further rounded up by saying that,We will not rest until there is justice for Stella Doosuur Mnda.
