Following the Presidential directives to check on migrants into Nigeria by the uprising coup action in Niger Republic, the Acting Comptroller Of Customs has as a matter of urgency arrived Sokoto state for inspection and implementation of orders.
His official visit is to apply the Presidential reinforcement schedule on boarder closure as our reporter disclosed.
The Ag Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service Bashir Adewale Adeniyi at the time of this report by 9News Nigeria has arrived Illela border in Sokoto State to reinforce the Presidential directives on Border closure due to the coup in Niger Republic.
This is also a working visit to border stations in the country as scheduled.
Meanwhile, our interviewers in Sokoto state has advised the Federal Government to apply proper wisdom in dealing with this crisis while stating that pushing it too hard can only make things even more worst as stated.
“What if the sanction failed and all ties are broken, how is the government going to mend things up.? Do you even consider those whom will be at the receiving end of this sanctions?
However, the moves is targetted at protecting the boarders to avoid looming dangers of insecurity or insurgent in the country pending when the coup is relaxed as directed by African union.
