Another scene of tragedy broke out in Ibadan on Wednesday as a woman whose name is yet to be confirmed but popularly known as ‘Iya Islamiya’ was murdered by unknown men at Ajibade area of Sasa-Akingbile, Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.

According to a report obtained, the deceased was macheted on her head till her life was taken by the unknown assailants.

Efforts by her husband to save her from dying proved abortive as she was confirmed dead on arrival at the hospital.

This happened in the early hours of Wednesday, 24th of June 2020, barely three days after a 5-year old boy, Mujeeb, was murdered by unscrupulous unknown persons at his parent’s residence in Akinyele area, Ibadan.

Until her death, she was working from home together with her husband as a dry cleaner.

At the scene, men of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested five suspects, three guys and two ladies due to their appearances and mode of dressings.
