Members of All Progressives Congress APC party across the states of the Federation have decried continous hardship, slow speed of progress, starvation and stinginess of party leaders in the country. They however compared Opposition’s People’s Democratic Party PDP liveliness and attractiveness to recent HardTimes And starving conditions in the party.
This is in comparison with the people’s Democratic Party PDP style of leadership where money was in circulation to every sector and grades of Nigerian people. APC members also lamented the hatred and rancour in the party.
Our reporters gathered reports from various states visited to ascertain the level of governance and Development in the areas visited.
From the Northern zone, leading All Progressives Congress APC party is seriously at work having absolute confidence on their leaders unlike some other zones visited in the cause of this report.
States like Yobe, Kaduna, Plateau, Kano, Adamawa and others are strongly behind their APC leaders because they are being carried along in the scheme of Governance and Empowerments.
States like Ondo, Edo, Benue, the people’s Democratic Party are battling with the Rulling All Progressives Congress in representation and mobilisation.
From the western party of the country, particular Lagos, Ogun and others, the APC is loyal to Jagaban Bola Tinubu who they refer as a grassroots and father of the zone.
Also the likes of Former Nigerian PRESIDENT Olusegun Obasanjo controls alot of powers to aid his followership to allign with Tinubu’s structure to bring power to their zone.
However, the Southern and Western zones are strongly planing to reap off power from the hands of the Notherners for having ruled Nigeria for 16 unbreakable year.
Former Vice PRESIDENT Atiku Abubakar has assured NIGERIANs that he will clinch the position of the PRESIDENT of Federal Republic of NIGERIA if the PDP give him the ticket to contest.
Incase Atiku wins, the power will still be domiciled in the North and the people are sensitive of this fact. This implies that any good candidate that will come from the South with the support of the Notherners will win the Presidential Election.
In furtherance, the Political wave of APC is minimal in the South to win the upcoming elections having strong leaders of the party defect to PDP.
In the South East, for instance, there are hundreds of PRESIDENTIAL contestants warming up to muzzle out power from the same Nothern cabals but their fixtures are wrongly made as the leading APC has hinted.
Perhaps, the sharp divide in APC in the South East is a ploy to make away for the west to win the ticket. But research has it that for the reason of Equity, Unity, Cohesion, Peace and Empathy, South East deserves the turn to produce the next NIGERIAN PRESIDENT.
The likes of Rochas Okorocha, Orji Uzor Kalu, Engr Umahi, Peter Obi, Pius Ayim, and many others nursing ambition to contest for the 2023 presidential election can make a quality choice to present a consensus candidate amongst them using a Northerner to be the running mate while the West will take the Senate PRESIDENT and the tempo will relax.
In Imo state, there are parallel All Progressives Congress APC party, one group belongs to Okorocha Rescue mission, the other groups belong to Camphope, Araraume and co.
Same Imo state, Former Governor Emeka Ihedioha battles coldedly against the Authority of Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party national secretary but the people’s Democratic Party PDP can resolve to battle with the Rulling APC.
All Progressive Grand Alliance is silent but working to stabilize their party in the state. The pressure is not as strong as that of APC and the Opposition PDP.
In the APC adminstration alot of comedy of errors bedevilling the country cannot be overemphasized.
This included imbalance in the national sharing, Resource control, Unemployment, bad roads, High electricity bills, low sponsorhip and patronage of Nigerian made Products, Hunger, Starvation, High cost of living, Increase in the cost of cement and building materials, Scarcity of Fuel, Petroleum Products and cooking gas, High transport fare, Drop in the currency value, challenges of insecurity and millitia groups, Agitations, High crime prone and the list is endless.
Having this shocker in the minds of the people, alot of regrets have continued to linger unless otherwise the true change will be established before the election proper.
The Winning of All Progressives Congress APC party in Ngor Okpala Bye- Election is a saviour to Imo Apc party otherwise the party will be a forgotten story and party members will decamp in bulk to other political parties having PDP in the forefront because of their quality co-ordinations and Richness.
From our findings, All Progressives Congress have to be revived, funded and be open hearted to convince and welcome more membership particularly at the grassroots. Any Political party without good ideology, Money and serious welfare of membership cannot last.
The 2023 upcoming elections will be a trial of fate of all political parties in NIGERIA having taken time to tour round the states for this assessment report. The people need good heartedness and good governance.
