In a prelude of what may happen in some weeks ahead. The Fomer Nigerian Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar may return to APC in his search for a fertile political platform to again wrestle the Presidential ticket as usual in 2023.

The cloud covering his next search and moves to contest on APC platform became clearer on Friday 19th February 2021 as his principal wife Fatima Atiku Abubakar revalidated her membership with the All Progressive Congress – APC

Atiku who is banking on the “No Zoning Arrangement” of Presidential ticket promoted by the Constitution of the All Progressive Congress APC may move his political baggage to the ruling APC considering that many key stakeholders in the People Democratic Party, PDP his present political party are looking up North for a marketable candidate but not him.

Hitherto, the All Progressive Congress – APC and the Northern political caliphate look confuse in their quest for who should succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

While the National Leader of APC Asiwanju Bola Tinubu from the Southwest could be a “natural successor” in the party, the Northern political caliphate rather see another Obasanjo in him and consider him to be over independent, uncontrollable and may have intent to repatriate the centre to Lagos.

Atiku’s circuit movement may pay off this time if his lobbyists could dissuade APC power brokers and put him above other Northern permutations who will protect the fragile North.
