Aspirants wishing to contest for the office of the president have been given the green light by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as the Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu some minutes ago announced the presidential election will hold on February 18, 2023.
Prof Mahmood made this known at the inauguration of the special adhoc committee on the review of the Nigeria 1999 Constitution. He told the members of the House of Representatives that they have about 885 days to the 2023 general elections.
