Nigeria’s transgender and social media personality Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju popularly known as Bobrisky, has regained freedom after serving out his 6 months jail term at the Kirikiri maximum security prison.
Recall that the controversial crossdresser was arrested and detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday April 3rd, 2024. The EFCC arrested Bobrisky due to a video of him spraying new naira notes at the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s movie titled ‘Ajakaju.’ He was however sentenced to prison on the 12th of April, 2024.
Gist gathered that the release of the crossdresser has sparked off huge reactions on the social media with some persons remarking that Bobrisky is rather looking fresh as if he was never in the prison.
