The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Christopher Musa, has arrived in Maiduguri to assess the devastating flood that has ravaged several communities in Borno State.
He was accompanied by other service chiefs and top military officials.
They landed at Maiduguri Airforce Base today Thursday.
They military men are expected to pay a sympathy visit to the state governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum and His Royal Highness, the Shehu of Borno, Alh. Abubakar Umar Garbai Al-Amin El-Kanemi in his palace.
Also, they are likely to visit some affected areas and military facilities affected by the flood.
