Breaking: Detained Plateau’s social media critic, Samuel Bature granted bail

Both the AG and Samuel are present in the Court this morning.

The AG says he won’t file a counter affidavit so Samuel can be free and continue to appear in Court as he is our own son and a Nigerian.

This is he says will enable the Court to go right into the merit of the matter.

Defendant’s counsel pleads with the Judge to give a bench ruling which the AG has no problem with.

Defendant’s Counsel acknowledges the gesture of the AG and appeals to the Judge to grant the bench ruling.

Samuel Samuel has been admitted to bail to the tune of N5 million Naira and two sureties residents within Jos Bukuru metropolis.

One of the sureties must be a clergy of Samuel faith and the other a community leader.

The case has been adjourned till 17th and 31st October 2024.

Samuel Bature, a social media influencer was detained for speaking out against the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang luxury vehicle purchase, questioning the government’s priorities amidst widespread hunger and deprivation in the state.
