The Economic and Financial Crime Commission -EFCC is reportedly searching the Lagos Head Office of the Dangote Group for forex allocation documents during Godwin Emefiele’s tenure as Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Governor.
At the time of filling this report by 9News Nigeria, EFCC is reportedly at the Lagos head office of the Dangote Group for an official search of certain documents linked to forex allocation in Emefiele’s time as CBN Governor.
They are conducting a search on forex allocations to the company during the tenure of Godwin Emefiele as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) our source hinted.
“They asked for documents on forex transactions with the CBN,” the Dangote employee said.
Speaking with our correspondent, an anonymous eye Witness confirmed the arrival of EFCC at the Lagos office of one of the highest ranking billionaires in Africa, Dangote groups.
However, transparency in financial matters is crucial for accountability. It will be enlightening to see the outcome of this investigation and how it contributes to ensuring fair practices.

There is need for cleansing from top to bottom office holders linked to Emefiele’s financial Saga, experts hinted.
