Breaking: Ex- Kaduna Governor’s son dies in road accident

Faisal Mohammed Makarfi, the son of the former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, has tragically passed away following a road accident on Kaduna -Zaria highway.

According to family source who requested anonymity, the accident occurred on Saturday evening, October 12.

Faisal who was rushed to an undisclosed hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. His father was reportedly at the hospital during his difficult time, and arrangements are being made for his burial.

Faisal Makarfi, a Civil Engineer, having attended Kaduna International School before completing his Secondary education at Adesoye College in Offa, Kwara State.

He later pursued higher education at the University of Greenwich in London, where he obtained both undergraduate and master’s degrees, Faisal was also enrolled in PhD program at the same institution.

The family has expressed their grief during this tragic loss, as the community remembers Faisal for his contributions and legacy of his father.

Further details surrounding the accident are expected to emerge as investigations continue.
