The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN has re-assured air travelers of satisfactory service and maximum security across Nigeria’s Airport.
FAAN has also acquired a brand new mobile surveillance system to boast security operations at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos.
Reliable source revealed that the surveillance system is equipped with the following:
•Multi laser system
•Laser range finder
•Thermal cameras
Multi sensor dat-con-tracer:
•Telescopic mast
•Video tracking and object detection
•Alarm management and target tracking.
This is part of measure to address the security challenges at the Lagos Airport as hinted by FAAN authority.
Meanwhile, the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos has officially resumed flight operations after a period of renovation and upgrade was completed.
The recent upgrade is well standardized with equipment to resolve the challenges on birds strikes as gathered by 9News Nigeria.
